How mobilisation can deliver significant benefits in the area of field workers
“Irrational exuberance” is one of my favourite phrases, famously coined by Alan Greenspan, the former Chair of the Federal Reserve, and I believe it describes the approach of some to the topic of mobilising line-of-business applications (LOB).
Before looking at the process for LOB mobilisation there are a few simple facts that need to be clarified:

Ten years ago, flexible working was nothing but an illusion – the dream of employees desiring more freedom and the nightmare of managers struggling to handle emerging forms of communication. The technologies to make this dream a reality weren’t readily available, affordable or easy to use so there was no pressure to change how business was done. This is no longer the case.
